Start a Restaurly trial
You can try Restaurly for seven days with the Free trial and see how it fits your restaurant. Each account gets one initial opportunity to try it.
Your seven days start when you activate the Restaurly PC. Choosing the trial online does not start the countdown, so you can get the computer ready first.
Check trial availability
- Start with company registration.
- Open the trial page in your account, or choose the Free trial on the pricing page.
- Sign in with the account you want to use for your restaurant.
- Check how many trial activations are available, then choose the trial.
- When the page says it is selected, activate your PC with the same account. This uses one trial opportunity and starts the seven days.
- Restart Restaurly and check the plan and expiry date in Settings.
You do not need a paid activation spot for the trial. It can be available even when your paid activation balance is zero.
If the trial is unavailable
If you already have paid access, cancel that subscription explicitly and wait until the cancellation is confirmed and your paid access ends. You keep the time you have paid for. Choosing a trial does not cancel your paid subscription for you.
An active trial cannot be restarted or used on a second PC. Once you have used your first trial opportunity, another one needs approval from a Restaurly administrator. Contact Support if you need help. An extra opportunity is for a later trial; it does not add days to the current one or let you run two at once. Reinstalling or renaming your account does not reset this.
During the seven days
You can try the included tools with up to 3 categories, 15 menu items, 3 staff accounts in total (waiter and POS combined), and 1 table. See Plans and limits for the available features. Use sample restaurant data while getting to know the app.
No payment details or Stripe Checkout are needed. The trial creates no invoices, does not renew and never turns into a paid subscription automatically. Earlier paid invoices remain available in your account.
The account page shows whether your trial is waiting for PC activation, running with its start and expiry dates, or finished. Closing the app does not pause the seven days.
Recovery and expiry
If activation does not finish as expected after your license has been issued, use the normal sign-in and activation steps again on the same PC. While the trial is still valid, recovery keeps its original expiry and uses no extra trial opportunity. This needs the same operating-system installation; ask Support before reinstalling the operating system or changing computers.
When the trial ends, Restaurly stops licensed service and mobile access, but your restaurant data stays on the PC. You can choose a paid plan, or start another trial if a Restaurly administrator grants a new opportunity. Then use the expiry page's sign-in/reactivation option, activate and restart. The online purchase or grant alone does not update the license on the PC.
