Reactivate an obsolete Restaurly installation
The License reactivation required page appears when this installation uses an obsolete license format or no longer has matching protected activation state. Restaurly prevents the PC app from starting until licensing is safe again.
Applies to: supported desktop platforms and account holder.
Reactivate
- Keep the restaurant database, backups, license files, and protected state untouched.
- Check the PC's internet connection, date, time, and time zone.
- Check paid access and its spots, selected trial eligibility, or recovery of an unexpired trial on its original installation.
- Select Sign in to reactivate.
- Complete account sign-in and return to Restaurly.
- Read the displayed activation balance, then select Activate once.
- After Successful Activation, select Restart.
- Open Settings and verify the plan, license ID, validity dates, features, and limits before service.
Paid replacement issuance can consume another paid spot. Recovery of an unexpired Free trial on the same installation keeps the original expiry and uses no additional allowance or paid spot.
The reactivation process replaces the complete license set as one guarded operation; it does not intentionally replace restaurant data. If the page changes to a generic validation problem or the spot count falls without a successful restart, stop and contact Support.
Recovering an unexpired Free trial
For an unexpired Free trial on the same recorded installation, guided reactivation keeps the original expiry and uses no additional Free trial allowance or paid activation spot. After expiry, choose paid access or a newly granted Free trial allowance and use the expiry recovery flow. Do not delete restaurant data or license files to force reactivation.
