Activate a Restaurly PC
Activate the computer you want to use at the restaurant. After activation, restart Restaurly to open the local Dashboard.

Before you begin
Have your internet connection and Restaurly account ready, and check the PC clock is correct. For paid activation, have an active paid plan and an available paid activation spot. For Free trial, first select an available trial in the website; no paid spot is needed. An unexpired Free trial can also be recovered on its original installation.
On Linux, use a normal desktop session and unlock Secret Service or KWallet. Restaurly will not store protected license state in plaintext.
Activate
- Open Restaurly and select Login.
- Sign in with the intended Restaurly account.
- Return to the app. For paid access, review the paid activation balance. For Free trial, read the explanation that the seven days start at PC activation.
- Confirm this is the intended PC, then select Activate once.
- Wait for Successful Activation, then select Restart or reopen the app.
- Check the plan, license ID, machine-binding status and validity dates in Settings.
Paid activation uses one paid spot. Your first trial activation uses one trial opportunity and starts seven days. Recovering a valid trial on the same installation keeps its expiry without using another opportunity or paid spot. The license belongs to this operating-system installation.
Do not interrupt activation or copy files from another PC. If the result is unclear, reopen once, record the message and use activation troubleshooting. If protected storage is unavailable on Linux, unlock/configure the keyring first.
