Build your first menu

Build the smallest complete training menu before entering the full restaurant catalogue.

Applies to: PC and administrator.

Build in this order

1. Open VAT groups and create the rates your restaurant needs.
2. Open Categories, create a category, and assign an active VAT group.
3. Open Items, add a name, available status, category, and price.
4. Add an image and description only when they are ready for staff use.
5. Create linked categories for required choices such as sides, then connect them to the main category.
6. Review the item on a waiter device and create a training order.

Prices are stored as gross minor-unit values. Changing VAT, price-entry style, or currency later does not reprice existing numbers. HUF item prices must be whole forints.
