How PC and mobile work together
The Restaurly PC stores restaurant operations and runs the local service. The waiter and POS apps connect to that PC over the restaurant network.

Activation, first-time restaurant setup, and administrator management happen in the Restaurly PC Dashboard. After setup is complete, the mobile app connects only as Waiter or POS / Back of House.
The PC must be running for live mobile orders, table updates, payments, and printing managed by Restaurly. Mobile devices do not become independent copies of the restaurant database.
PC and mobile releases use one exact compatibility contract. When either side reports an incompatible version, update the affected app; Restaurly does not silently fall back to an older connection format.
Because daily operations are local-first, losing internet access does not automatically mean losing the restaurant network. Activation, account, updates, or external support links may still require internet access.
