Check for and install desktop updates
The update panel in Settings shows the installed version and whether update checking is available for this build.
Applies to: packaged desktop app and administrator.
- Finish or pause active service work.
- Confirm that a recent backup exists.
- Select Check for updates.
- When the verified update is ready, select Install and restart.
- After restart, review the version and reconnect one mobile device.
Restaurly stops its services gracefully before installation and preserves runtime data outside the packaged application.
Update delivery can differ by operating system and package type. Some builds may show the built-in update action as unavailable or may require the official platform package instead. Do not download an unofficial package or bypass release verification; use the approved download for your platform or contact support.
