Manage the print queue and marked reprints

The PC owns a durable queue for customer, kitchen, and management documents. Jobs can be queued, retrying, completed, failed, or uncertain.

Applies to: PC and administrator.

A failed job was not confirmed as sent. An uncertain job means transmission may already have started, so another copy could duplicate paper output.

Handle an uncertain job

  1. Inspect the printer and nearby paper first.
  2. Confirm whether the original document printed completely.
  3. Correct the network or printer problem.
  4. Request a replacement only when needed.

Restaurly keeps the original job immutable and labels the replacement as a marked reprint. Do not create a new payment or new order merely to obtain another document.
