Route categories to POS stations
Use a POS category filter to send kitchen, bar, or other preparation work to the right station.
Applies to: PC and administrator.
Configure routing
- Open Staff and edit the POS station.
- Open its category-filter control.
- Select every category this station prepares.
- Save, then create a mixed training order.
- Confirm the station sees only its expected items.
An empty filter means all categories, not none. Categories may overlap: when two stations both select a category, both see the matching item and both enabled kitchen printers receive their own ticket.
Each linked choice follows its own menu category. Restaurly keeps a linked bundle together for the order, while each station receives only the members routed to it.

The same filter controls the station's order queue and its kitchen-printer routing. Test both after every change.
