Understand PC diagnostic logs
The PC writes structured local diagnostics automatically. Events record technical context such as components, event codes, severity, and correlation identifiers while known secrets and sensitive fields are redacted.
Applies to: PC and administrator.
Logs rotate at about 5 MiB, keep up to 10 files, and are retained for up to 14 days. They are not intended to contain raw customer notes, passwords, full tokens, or complete payment data.
You normally do not need to find or send raw log files yourself. Use the encrypted support-bundle workflow so Restaurly can collect the relevant, redacted diagnostic material with your explicit choices.
Mobile diagnostic logging is separate and must be enabled for a limited 30-minute window from the mobile app when support asks for it.
