Find your way around the Dashboard
The Dashboard is the administrator workspace on the Restaurly PC. Use it to prepare the restaurant and review activity without interrupting waiter or POS devices.
Applies to: PC and administrator.
Main areas
- Home shows the restaurant overview and active staff sessions.
- Staff manages waiters, POS stations, PINs, and POS category filters.
- Orders, Items, Categories, Tables, and VAT Groups manage daily restaurant records.
- Statistics provides waiter, POS, table, item, and report views.
- Settings contains regional, pricing, company, backup, printer, update, system-information, and support tools.
The Dashboard is locked until first-time setup is complete. Keep the Restaurly PC app running during a shift; closing it also stops mobile access and print processing.
tip
Make configuration changes before service, then verify them with a training order. Price, VAT, routing, and printer changes can affect open work.
